Located in Whitestown, the fastest growing community in Indiana, TPCS is a fully accredited (ACSI) school serving over 620 students, ages 18 months - 12th grade, from six diverse central Indiana counties. Located on a 25-acre campus, TPCS is training scholars, making disciples and graduating leaders. 

Traders Point Christian Schools is looking for an HR Specialist to bring us the best candidates for open positions as well as provide support in other aspects of human resources, including onboarding, employee retention, benefits, and training.

POSITION GOAL

The goal of this position is to support the mission and vision of Traders Point Christian Schools by hiring, developing, supporting, and retaining highly qualified faculty and staff who are called to use their talents and abilities for the glory of God in Christian education. 

 QUALIFICATIONS, RESPONSIBILITIES, AND DUTIES

 Educational and Experience Requirements:

Candidates must be professing and maturing Christians enthusiastically supporting the School’s statement of faith and mission statements.  A bachelor’s degree is required.  Candidates should demonstrate a successful career in talent acquisition.  The ideal candidate will excel at developing collaborative relationships with all constituencies. Excellent communication skills are a must, including writing and presentation abilities.  In addition, the position requires the ability to organize and prioritize work, resolve problems, follow through, and manage multiple priorities to ensure that goals are met promptly. Candidates must be highly detail-oriented and can interact with all levels of the organization.

 Qualifying Characteristics:

The candidate has a clear biblical testimony of salvation with an authentic and a mature personal relationship with Jesus Christ in their professional and personal life with a calling and commitment to Christian education. The ideal candidate must work closely and nurture a positive relationship with teachers, staff, school administrators, and community members. The candidate must demonstrate respect for all teachers, staff, and community members. The ability to exercise sound judgment set a good example, and comply with school standards is a must, and the ability to deal with sensitive and confidential issues discreetly and professionally. You must address concerns and offer suggestions appropriately and confidentially.  As an employee at TPCS, you are expected to instruct and model important religious functions that include Bible instruction, prayer, participation in weekly chapels, and other religious duties. At TPCS, your role involves a pastoral element whereby through example and direct instruction, you are acting as a minister of our Christian faith.

Physical / Travel  Requirements: Must have a personal vehicle to travel locally.

Exempt Status: Exempt, salaried

Work Schedule:  Position to be filled as soon as possible. Full time with partial remote and partial in-office.
