Located in Whitestown, the fastest growing community in Indiana, TPCS is a fully accredited (ACSI) school serving over 620 students, ages 18 months - 12th grade, from six diverse central Indiana counties. Located on a 25-acre campus, TPCS is training scholars, making disciples and graduating leaders.
TPCS has held four ribbon cutting ceremonies over the past 5 years commemorating their growth. A state of the art high school with athletic turf, Witham Field, opened its doors in 2017. In 2019, the Reed Athletic Center for strength and conditioning was completed along with the addition of seven new classrooms and in 2020, TPCS expanded once again with a 14,000 sq ft junior high addition.To meet the needs of an ever growing community, TPCS has received a seven-figure private investment to increase academic rigor.

Traders Point Christian Schools is looking for a Talent Acquisition & Staffing Coordinator to bring us the best candidates for open positions as well as provide support in other aspects of human resources, including onboarding, employee retention, benefits, and training.
The Talent Acquisition and Staffing Coordinator will proactively identify hiring needs, help fill vacancies with highly qualified employees, and support employee retention efforts.
QUALIFICATIONS, RESPONSIBILITIES, AND DUTIES
Educational and Experience Requirements:
Candidates must be professing and maturing Christians enthusiastically supporting the School’s statement of faith and mission statements. A bachelor’s degree is required. Candidates should demonstrate a successful career in talent acquisition. The ideal candidate will excel at developing collaborative relationships with all constituencies. Excellent communication skills are a must, including writing and presentation abilities. In addition, the position requires the ability to organize and prioritize work, resolve problems, follow through, and manage multiple priorities to ensure that goals are met promptly. Candidates must be highly detail-oriented and can interact with all levels of the organization.
The candidate has a clear biblical testimony of salvation with an authentic and a mature personal relationship with Jesus Christ in their professional and personal life with a calling and commitment to Christian education. The ideal candidate must work closely and nurture a positive relationship with teachers, staff, school administrators, and community members. The candidate must demonstrate respect for all teachers, staff, and community members. The ability to exercise sound judgment set a good example, and comply with school standards is a must, and the ability to deal with sensitive and confidential issues discreetly and professionally. You must address concerns and offer suggestions appropriately and confidentially. As an employee at TPCS, you are expected to instruct and model important religious functions that include Bible instruction, prayer, participation in weekly chapels, and other religious duties. At TPCS, your role involves a pastoral element whereby through example and direct instruction, you are acting as a minister of our Christian faith.
Interact with potential candidates on social media and professional networks (e.g., LinkedIn, Twitter)
Craft and send recruiting emails.
Coordinate with hiring managers to determine position requirements
Identify qualified candidate profiles using various sourcing techniques
Develop talent pipelines for future hiring needs
Ask for referrals from current employees and external networks
Promote our employer brand online and offline
Maintain candidate databases (e.g., via our Applicant Tracking System)
Communicate with past applicants regarding new job opportunities
Conduct recruitment activities for all exempt and nonexempt personnel; prepare internal and external job postings, write and place advertisements across all media as needed.
Responsible for applicant tracking throughout the hiring and onboarding process.
Utilizes all sources available to obtain talent for the organization, including but not limited to ACSI, Indiana DOE, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.
Recommend new approaches and procedures to effect continual improvements in the department's efficiency and services performed.
Familiarity with commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures for locating and screening new employees.
Must be proactive in searching for talent; may require visiting college work fairs, cold-calling candidates that may not be looking, etc.
Physical / Travel Requirements: Must have a personal vehicle to travel locally.
Exempt Status: Exempt, salaried
Work Schedule: Position to be filled as soon as possible. Full time with partial remote and partial in-office.
