Position: Girls Varsity Volleyball Head Coach
Reports to: Athletic Director

Job Summary:
Traders Point Christian Schools is seeking a highly motivated, knowledgeable, and spiritually grounded Girls Varsity Volleyball Head Coach.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, deep volleyball expertise, and the ability to mentor and develop student-athletes in a Christ-centered environment.
Qualifications:
- Previous volleyball coaching and/or playing experience required
- Preferred high school or collegiate coaching experience
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Great recruiter/retention skills for your program
- Great fundraising skills
- Ability to motivate and disciple student-athletes
- Agreement with TPCS Athletic Purpose Statement, which reads: Traders Point Christian Schools is committed to developing and maintaining an athletic program that is Christ-centered, comprehensive, and competitive, and allows each athlete a unique venue to be a witness for Christ by using his or her God-given talent to move and play.
- Must pass a background check
- Must provide proof, or be willing to take CPR training
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and encourage the spiritual development of student-athletes
- Lead the full volleyball program culture and expectations
- Proactively communicating with parents and staff in regard to schedules, etc.
- Organizing initial team meetings and establishing team rules, procedures, and policies in writing as approved by the Athletic Director.
- Develop practice plans, game strategies, and conditioning
- Manage and support JV/MS coaching staff
- Will to run successful summer camps
- Communicating with parents, AD, and staff is essential
- Ensure academic and behavioral eligibility
- Supervise athletes during all phases of activity
- Supervising athletes until the last student leaves that contest/practice
- Reports all game results to staff before 8 am the next day of the contest's finish.
- Attend required trainings and meetings
- Develop a system to annually evaluate your coaching staff
- Manage inventory, uniforms, and facilities
- Submit rosters, schedules, results, and season-end reports
- Oversee fundraising and community engagement
- Follow inventory check-in & check-out policies with uniforms
- Plan team banquet and awards
- Other duties assigned by the Athletic Director
This position is:
- 1099 contractor
- Paid by stipend
- For the Fall 2026 athletic season
