Position: Coed MS/JH Golf Head Coach

Reports to: Athletic Director & Varsity Golf Coach

Job Summary:

The MS/JH Golf Coach teaches golf fundamentals, course etiquette, and Christ-like character development.

Qualifications:

• Golf coaching or playing experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of golf basics, rules, and etiquette
• Will to run successful summer camps
• Great recruiter/retention skills for your program
• Agreement with TPCS Athletic Purpose Statement, which reads: Traders Point Christian Schools is committed to developing and maintaining an athletic program that is Christ-centered, comprehensive, and competitive, and allows each athlete a unique venue to be a witness for Christ by using his or her God-given talent to move and play.
• Ability to mentor new golfers
• Must pass a background check
• Must provide proof, or be willing to take CPR training 

Responsibilities:

• Teach golf fundamentals and course management
• Promote Christian character and respect
• Maintaining communication with administration, parents, and varsity staff is essential
• Supervise athletes at all times,  until the last one leaves any organized event that the team is a part of
• Submit rosters, match results, and reports
• Plan team banquet and awards
• Follow inventory check-in & check-out policies with uniforms
• Reports all game results to staff before 8 am the next day of the contest finish
• Other duties as assigned

This position is:

• A 1099 contractor
• Part-time, stipend
• For the Spring Athletic season
