Located in Whitestown, the fastest growing community in Indiana, TPCS is a fully accredited (ACSI) school serving over 620 students, ages 18 months - 12th grade, from six diverse central Indiana counties. Located on a 25-acre campus, TPCS is training scholars, making disciples and graduating leaders. 

TPCS has held four ribbon cutting ceremonies over the past 5 years commemorating their growth. A state of the art high school with athletic turf, Witham Field, opened its doors in 2017. In 2019, the Reed Athletic Center for strength and conditioning was completed along with the addition of seven new classrooms and in 2020, TPCS expanded once again with a 14,000 sq ft junior high addition.To meet the needs of an ever growing community, TPCS has received a seven-figure private investment to increase academic rigor.

The next Summer Experience Camp Counselor will understand the unique opportunity and embrace the challenge of building a healthy, Christ-centered school with a focus on growing academic excellence while making an eternal impact in the lives of students. 

Camp Counselor will assist Camp Coordinator in organizing and directing a morning, afternoon, or full day summer camp elective. They will assist in implementing the provided curriculum and activities while creating a safe and fun environment for their campers. 

Reports to: Summer Camp Director 

QUALIFICATIONS

Educational and Experience Requirements:

1-2 years of experience in childcare or education preferred 

Qualifying Characteristics:

The Attendant is a Christian with an authentic and a mature personal relationship with Jesus Christ in both their professional and personal life with a calling and commitment to Christian education. The ideal Attendant must have the desire to work closely and nurture a positive relationship with students, teachers, parents, staff, school administrators and community members. The Attendant must demonstrate respect for all students and community members. The ability to exercise good judgment, set a good example and comply with school standards is a must as well as the ability to deal with sensitive and confidential issues in a tactful and professional manner. Must be able to address concerns and offer suggestions in an appropriate and confidential manner. As an employee at TPCS, you are expected to instruct and model important religious functions that include Bible instruction, prayer, participation in weekly chapels, and other religious duties. At TPCS, your role involves a pastoral element whereby through example and direct instruction, you are acting as a minister of our Christian faith.

Exempt Status: Non-exempt, hourly 

Work Schedule June 1- July 29th 

Full time - 40 hrs per week 

M- F   8:30- 4:30

Part time - 20 hrs per week

M-F - hours may vary
